What is your background?

My background is in the airline industry, where I have held various roles in fleet and maintenance procurement. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in trading aircraft, aircraft financing and participating in new aircraft orders, which has given me a deep understanding of the aviation sector.

Why is Aethos important to you?

During my time in the airline industry, I noticed that while significant attention is given to acquiring and trading new aircraft, the question of what happens to old aircraft from a sustainability perspective was rarely addressed. I believe there is so much more we can do when it comes to aircraft recycling, and I want to be part of the solution. Aethos provides the perfect platform to make a meaningful impact in this area.

What goal do you want to achieve?

My goal is to create awareness that there is still a lot to be done when it comes to aircraft recycling. While progress has been made, there is still so much more we can recycle from an aircraft. Unfortunately, too much of the aircraft still end up in landfills, and this needs to change. I want to raise awareness among those who order and sell aircraft, as well as promote a broader understanding of the importance of sustainability in aviation. I envision Aethos playing a leading role in advancing aircraft recycling and setting new standards to ensure a more sustainable future for the industry.

What is funny to know about you?

I am a complete aviation geek! Every time I see an aircraft, my heart races, and I feel like a 10-year-old kid again. Aviation has always been my passion, and it continues to inspire me every day.
